The most daring photograph workshop ever conceived is back to push the boundaries of what is acceptable to look at. Erotic Eye IV will take place in Marseille 7/22-7/29. The class is limited to eight non professionals. Applications are now open. The Erotic Eye workshop was created by Donna Ferrato and Tomeu Coll in 2015. It is a guided tour through the world of eroticism, symbols, and mythologies. At it's heart is the belief that we are born to love and be loved, and that, in the words of the late great Czech photographer, Miroslav Tichy, "All of society is based on sexuality." Photographers will not only build portfolios, but will learn about themselves and will become attuned to visualizing with their erotic eye. After the culmination of the workshop series, there will be a book and a documentary film made from the participants work. The beginning of Erotic Eye IV will take place in Marseille. Photographers will have shooting assignments to fullfill. We will .......Throughout, there will be short daily editing sessions and nightly films about photographer's lives. Unlike other workshops, the whole group lives like a pack in one or more homes. Expect to live, eat, breathe photography 24 hours a day. Out of profound respect for the photo gods and goddess' now gone who shaped our visual memory, we role play. Be prepared to participate and become the embodiment of a dead photographer, with the hope to learn how to see with an highly intuitive eye. Note: our subjects are not paid models. They are courageous people willing to share their lives. NB: Photographers are not allowed to have sex any time during the workshop.
